DTKJ Suggested the Use of Single Trip Public Transportation

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat claimed he has received a number of suggestions from The Jakarta Transportation Council (DTKJ) regarding transportation arrangement system in the city.

For instance, after riding LRT, how the passengers continue to ride Transjakarta and MRT

"There are some recommendation and review which were conveyed by them. Including Electronic Road Pricing (ERP), Light Rail Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)," said Djarot after he welcomed DTKJ caretakers in City Hall, Thursday (9/10).

He appreciated those suggestion. Moreover DTKJ has made review and some recommendation that urgent to be done.

"For instance, when public transportation is already operate, such as LRT, MRT, Transjakarta and Commuter Line that currently lead to Dukuh Atas, we review the support power from the land. Then where are the alternative thus it will not only to Dukuh Atas," he disclosed.

He uttered single trip ticket payment was also discussed in the meeting that could be integrated each other among LRT, Transjakarta, Commuter Line and MRT, thus will ease the control and service to citizens.

"For instance, after riding LRT, how the passengers continue to ride Transjakarta and MRT. It should be discussed well thus each transportation could support each other," he finished.
