2 Tons of Trashes Transported from Jalan Sapta Taruna

2 tons of trashes and sediment were dredged from water channel on Jalan Sapta Taruna, the Public Works Ministry Complex. The dredging involved 30 Infrastructure and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers.

" We did the cleaning to prevent puddle during rainy season ," said Vice Head of Kebayoran Lama Sub-District, Endang Efendi, Monday (9/14).

According to Efendi, not only the channel, the officer also transported trashes on the road and gutter. "If the trash gets into the gutter, it could be clogged," he uttered.

550 Tons of Kalibata Connecting Channel Sediment Dredged

Assisted by locals, Army and Police, the trash put on a dump truck.

"There are approximately 2 tons of trashes transported. In future, a routine coordination with Water Management, Bina Marga and Cleanliness Sub-Department, will be conducted to do cleaning," he disclosed.
