As flood anticipation, the Infrastructure and Public Infrastructure Handling personnel cleaned a water channel on Jalan Manggar, Tugu Utara, Koja, North Jakarta.
The cause is local citizen deliberately closed the channel cover thus it makes personnel difficult to clean it
To ease cleaning, the personnel firstly tore down hundreds of inrits (concrete channel cover) as long as 600 meters.
Head of Tugu Utara Urban Village, Nandang Hidayat acknowledged that the cleaning is conducted because the channel has been strewn by mud and trash for several years.
