An 8.7-Hectare Land Prepared For City Forest Expanding

An 8.7-hectare-wide land is prepared to expand the city forest. The land is located in West Jakarta as wide as 5.1 hectares and 3.6 hectares in East Jakarta.

This year, we got land as wide as 5.1 hectares from Jakarta Financial and Asset Management Board (BPKAD), which aims to expanding the Rawa Buaya City Forest

According to Joko Rianto, Head of Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Department acknowledged the land in West Jakarta, precisely in Rawa Buaya was designed to expand the Rawa Buaya City Forest, Cengkareng.

While for 3.6 hectares in East Jakarta are spread in Pulo Gebang, Ciracas and Cipayung, with 1.2 hectares wide per land.

Manual Watering Applied for UKI & Cawang City Forest

Rianto added, in East Jakarta, there are 5 points of city forests. They are Ujung Menteng, Munjul, Setu, Cipayung and Cilangkap City Forest.

This year, we got land as wide as 5.1 hectares from Jakarta Financial and Asset Management Board (BPKAD), which aims to expanding the Rawa Buaya City Forest. It is also for land acquisition as wide as 3.6 hectares in three locations,” he disclosed.
