Basuki: Samsat Outlet Could Increase Motor Vehicle Taxes

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama inaugurated Motor Vehicle Document Service (Samsat) outlets for Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) administration in five municipalities office spread across five cities of Jakarta in Penjaringan Sub-District office, North Jakarta, Friday (9/18).

This is for the sake of residents easy services to pay taxes on motor vehicles

Those five outlets are, Penjaringan (North Jakarta), Pasar Minggu (South Jakarta), Kebon Jeruk (West Jakarta), Pegadungan (East Jakarta) and Kemayoran Sub District office (Central Jakarta).

Motor Vehicle Tax Service Opened in Pasar Minggu Sub-District Office

"This is for the sake of residents easy services to pay taxes on motor vehicles," he said, after the inauguration.

The inauguration will not be realized without the cooperation of City Police, Jasa Raharja and Bank DKI.

"The existence of Samsat outlets also have an impact on the increase in motor vehicle taxes," he expressed.

According to the plan, City Administration will open Samsat outlets throughout sub-district office in capital next January 2016.

The services are, vehicle ownership documents (STNK) issuance and motor vehicle tax payments that have maturity period of 1 year taxes. As for corporate taxpayers, corporate or private vehicles more than 1 year, the service is still being done in Samsat main office.
