Trash Piling Up on Jalan Koramil Cleaned

As many as 25 joint officers of North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department and Infrastructure and Public Facility Handling (PPSU) cleaned trashes along Jalan Koramil, precisely on an empty land belongs to PT Elnusa, Rawabadak Selatan Urban Village, Koja Sub-District.

"Trash on Jalan Koramil is abandoned for ages. It caused rotten smell and we worried it could spread disease. Thus, we decided to clean it," said Head of Rawabadak Selatan Urban Village, Sutarjo, Monday (9/21).

Trash Piling Up in Kebayoran Baru Disturbing Residents

 

Sutarjo stated that besides officers, one heavy equipment sent to the field, and they managed to transport trash weighing 10 big-sized trucks.

 

"All this time, we had difficulties to do cleanliness because of prohibition from the land owner, PT Elnusa. After passing through a long discussion, we finally got permission to do it,” he told.

 

He added that local citizens were urged not to littering on such land, but in the temporary disposal site (TPS).
