Kebon Nanas Public Cemetery Misused As Sacrificial Animal Shelter

Kebon Nanas Public Cemetery (TPU), Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jatinegara, is misused as sacrificial animals shelter. Whereas, it is prohibited to use public and social facilities.

We will check the location and coordinate with the cemetery management to control it

Beritajakarta.com observation, tens of animals are placed by the trader not far from the cemetery entrance located at Jalan Panca Warga II. The trader also does not install tent to protect the animal from hot weather.

Jatinegara Sub-District Head, Budi Setiawan stated, his party will coordinate with the local urban village head to direct and appeal traders not to trade in the location anymore.

Meanwhile, Cipinang Besar Selatan Urban Village Head, Ibrahim said will directly deploy Satpol PP officers to observe the location.

"We will check the location and coordinate with the cemetery management to control it. I will also deploy urban village's Satpol PP officers," he told.
