Djarot Scheduled to Perform Eid-Al Adha Prayer at City Hall

The city administration is scheduled to hold Idul Adha prayer on the courtyard of City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat. According to schedule, Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat and some officials and Legislative Council (DPRD) members will conduct Eid prayer in the City Hall.

The yard can accommodate 700 pilgrims. Mr. Djarot will also do prayer here

Head of Mental and Spiritual Sub-Division, Jakarta Korpri, Sunardi disclosed the prayer will be led by KH Sunandar Ibnu Nur, who is a lecturer of the State Islamic University (UIN) and priest by Ma'mun.

"The yard can accommodate 700 pilgrims. Mr. Djarot will also do prayer here," he told, at City Hall, Tuesday (9/22).

Besides officials, the City Hall also opens for citizen. His side also sent invitation letter to Chairman of Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi. "Citizen is also allowed to pray here," he exclaimed.

After prayer, there will be a release of qurban animal examiners from Jakarta Marine, Agriculture and Food Security Department.

They would examine the qurban animals that have been slaughtered in Jakarta. It is done to give safety to citizens when they consume the qurban meats.
