East Jakarta Mayor Appreciated Animal Slaughterhouse in An Nur Mosque

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana appreciated the animal slaughterhouse (RPH) in An Nur Mosque, Taman Buaran Indah Complex, Klender, Duren Sawit.

The mechanism and the hygiene are also RPH standard

"Residents in Buaran RW 14 held the slaughtering by themselves, but the standard is like in RPH. The most of the workers are also taken from RPH. The mechanism and the hygiene are also RPH standard," he told, Thursday (9/24).

He assessed, such slaughterhouse could be applied in other mosques, as long as the land area and its facility are adequate.

"So far, it's already good, the blood was also not splattered anywhere. It's all splashed, flowing to the channel in the place. This is a pilot of sacrificial animal slaughtering based on procedure," he disclosed.

Head of East Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department, Bayu Sari Astuti praised the resident's creative idea regarding the slaughtering place that was built in by residents themselves within this two weeks.

"It's really good, besides the place is hygienic, the slaughtering process is also quick, thus the meat could be distributed to the needy," she expressed.
