According to Ahmad Cholik, Head of Seribu Island Marine,Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department, in Al-Makmuriyah Mosque, there were 7 cows and 12 goats and 1 sheep.
“From the total sacrificial animal, we found one cow without genitals and underage,” he said, Friday (9/25).
Underage and Unworthy Qurban Animals Found in Central JakartaBesides from healthy aspect, the team also refers to Islamic creed (aqidah) about qurban way.
“Unworthy qurban animal is not allowed to be slaughtered,” he expressed.
Sacrificial animal monitoring is divided into several teams assisted by IPB University students, Bogor, West Java. Similar case was also found in other islands.
