Kota Tua Visitor Number Increased By 10 Percent

Tour visit in Kota Tua, West Jakarta is increased by 10 percent on Idul Adha, last Thursday (9/24). The raid of street vendors and illegal parking become one of the factor of the increase.

O n Idul Adha this year, the Kota Tua visitor numbers has increased by 10 percent

"On Idul Adha this year, the Kota Tua visitor number has increased by 10 percent. Normally on weekdays and weekend, it only reaches between 2,000-4,000 people," said Head of West Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-Department, Imron, Friday (9/25).

According to him, the raid will keep being conducted in the area. Because by doing so, the visitors could freely enjoy the old atmosphere.

"Intensifying raid and maintaining Kota Tua make the visitor number increased," he expressed.

Bahtiar, (19), one of the visitors stated he purposely visited the area to spent his holiday. "Since I have days off and no lecture schedule. There are many museums which the fees are cheap, and it's cozy as a place to hangout with friends," he uttered.
