1 Million Citizens Attended 13th Year Car Free Day

As many as 1 million citizens from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi participated in 13th Car Free Day Event along Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin, Sunday (9/27).

Citizens did really enjoy the event

Governor's Deputy Asisstant of Residential Division, Syamsudin Lologoa stated, on the 13th anniversary, the event is getting enjoyed by citizens.

Not only that, citizens awareness to dispose trash in its place during the event, also increased. Moreover, Cleanliness Department has deployed the personnel in Tangkap Tangan Operation (OTT) for waste offenders.

295 Residents Underwent Free Medical Service in Car Free Day

"Citizens did really enjoy the event. Because they need a place to exercise, and interact each other. Therefore, we will keep providing CFD place until infinitive time," he stated, Sunday (9/27).

Besides being held at provincial level, he explained, the event is also held at city level.Each of them is along Jalan Suryopranoto Central Jakarta, Kota Tua Area West Jakarta, Jalan Boulevard Kelapa Gading North Jakarta, Jalan Pemuda Rawamangun East Jakarta, Jalan Sisingamangaraja South Jakarta.

Beritajakarta.com observation, whole citizens participating in the event, enjoyed the activities. Ranging from leisurely strolling, jogging, cycling, skateboarding. Then there are also college students group who persuaded citizens to do palm print using colorful paints on white cloth. It was a symbol for encouraging citizens to maintain cleanliness and as a blue sky program.
