Cleanliness Section for Kemayoran Sub-District confirmed that the cause of trash piles in Sumur Batu Market is due to lacking of dump truck unit.

Section Head of Cleanliness for Kemayoran Sub-District, Rina Yulia F acknowledged that her side merely has 21 dump trucks with capacity of 6-10 cubic. Unfortunately, its operational divided in 8 urban villages in Kemayoran Sub-District.

Kemayoran Sub-District Head, Herry Purnama added that his side would immediately send a letter to market management to fence off disposal site in the market.
“Thus trash and water do not spill into the street,” he uttered.
However, his side seems to have trouble to find new location for disposal site.
Currently, there is only one disposal site on Jl Kran, RW 03, Gunung Sahari Selatan. “Its capacity is only 40-50 cubic meters. And there are other 40 points of disposal sites in 8 urban villages,” he finished.
