North Jakarta PTSP Needs More Human Resources

North Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) needs more human resources to manage hundreds of documents and survey duty in the field every day.

It is so overwhelmed, where we’ve to process about 518 permissions every day

Head of North Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Service, Johan Girsang acknowledged every day, at least 170 documents are proposed by citizens. Additionally, the officers also obligated to do survey in 100 points of request for building permit (IMB) within 10 working days.

Meanwhile, there are merely 40 PTSP officers on duty, comprising 31 civil servants, 5 civil servant candidates and 4 freelancers.

“It is so overwhelmed, where we’ve to process about 518 permissions every day,” he complained, Wednesday (9/30).

Girsang proposed to conduct survey in the weekend in a bid to optimize public service on working days. “On working days, some of officers will be assigned to the field, that's why the service can take a long time,” he told.

Nevertheless, he remains urge his staff to work professionally, even though they always get complaint from residents.

“But I ensure we are free from bribery. If it is proven, the harsh sanction will be imposed to the actor,” he disclosed.
