The connecting channel of Waliot in Jangkrik Market, Jalan Pisangan Baru Tengah, Pisangan Baru Urban Village, Matraman, was cleaned, Wednesday (9/30). It is hoped the local residents will not throw trash into the channel, and intensive supervision must be held by related units.

The supervision will be held after this cleaning effort. Hopefully no more traders and citizen throwing trash into the channel

Achmad Salahudin, Vice of Matraman Sub-district, said he has asked RT and RW caretaker, also Jangkrik Market management to monitor the channel.

Meanwhile, Slamet Riyanto, Head Section of Water Management for Matraman Sub-district, stated the channel will be normalized also by East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management.

"The effort is done to ease the water flow," he stated.
