Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama admitted that he has prepared a concept of integrated flat construction in a number of traditional markets in capital.

Ahok stated integrated flat is an answer of limited land in capital at once to provide affordable residential for Jakartans.

“We’ve planned and design such flat construction. We have to a bit tricky this time because we've bad experience with 3-4 stories building market,” he expressed at City Hall, Monday (10/12).

By build such integrated market with flat on its top is deemed to attract more buyer to the market. Just like other integrated apartment developed by private sector. “Trader still can trade there,” he said.

Ahok further said that integrated flat could accommodate street vendor around the location. However flat construction is slated to begin in 2016.
