3 RPTRAs Contruction in E. Jakarta Still Awaiting CSR

East Jakarta Administration is going to build 11 Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA) this year. But unfortunately, 3 out of them are still waiting for private sector role to build it.

Those public spaces will be built in Pulogebang, Pulo Jahe, Tipar Cakung, and Cipinang Besar Selatan Flats. Some others are Penggilingan, Kebon Pala, Cipinang Besar Utara, Kali Sari, Utan Kayu Utara and Tengah Urban Villages.
Head of East Jakarta Family Planning, Women and Community Empowerment Office (PMPKB), Hendri Novrizal acknowledged from 11 public spaces, about 8 were already built through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
“We're still waiting for private sector’s role to participate in RPTRA development,” he said, Wednesday (10/7).
He told the three public spaces that experiencing postponement are located in Kali Sari, Utan Kayu Utara and Tengah Urban Villages.
“But we’ve found alternative location in Lubang Buaya or Pulo Gebang. We’ll allocate it in next year city budge if the project is not realized this year,” he disclosed.
