Djarot Asked SKPD to Check Data of RW Slums from BPS

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asked the whole Regional Working Unit (SKPD) to conduct mapping on data of slums in the capital issued by Jakarta Statistic Agency (BPS).

Djarot acknowledged according to the data from BPS, slums mapping based on community unit (RW), either  heavy or medium category is decreasing.

We just don’t believe it, we should check it in the field,” he said, when he led a follow-up meeting regarding slums handling at City Hall, Tuesday (10/13).

City Formed Special Team to Record Slum Residential

He also asked Regional Working Units (SKPD) also asked to follow up mapping data issued by BPS. The follow-up in question is related to arrangement model and its handling lies in RW slums.

“Through this meeting, we discuss what we have to do with our programs to handle slums,” he uttered.

By doing so, City Administration does not merely mapping yet give special treatment that need to be deal against RW slums in 2016.

“We can record the data to know how much residents that can accomodate to flat,” he finished.
