East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana, instructed the Water Management Sub-Department to accelerate the revitalization process of Rawa Badung Dam, Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung.

Rainy season is coming soon. Therefore, it should be accelerated

He assessed, the dredging of 36,000 cubic land at the east side of the 2.5-hectare dam which was started since August ago, still way from the target.

"I want the dredging to be accelerated. If it is now only 25 trucks a day, it should be increased to be 100 trucks," he told, Friday (10/9).

He hopes, the revitalization will be done before December.

"Rainy season is coming soon. Therefore, it should be accelerated," he asserted.

Head of Water Resource Maintaining Section for East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Mukhid stated his sub-department will add the transport armadas.

"The armadas will be added soon. We're still optimistic the dredging will be done December," he explained
