31,700 Personnel Ready to Safeguard 2015 President's Cup Final

As many as 31,700 joint personnel consisting of City Police, Army and  Central Jakarta Satpol PP personnel are ready to secure the 2015 President's Cup final match which Persib Bandung FC Vs Sriwijaya FC in Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Senayan, Sunday (10/18).

For security matter, West Java Police will be also involved to escort team and supporter from Bandung to Jakarta

Central Jakarta Metro Police, Sr. Comr. Hendro Pandowo said that his side has coordinated with West Java police to escort from Bandung to Jakarta border.

"For security matter, West Java Police will be also involved to escort team and supporter from Bandung to Jakarta," he uttered, Thursday (10/15).

1,700 Policemen Ready to Secure Persija-Persib Match

Pandowo added that the police have to communicate with both supporters, Persib (Bobotoh) and Persija (Jakmania) to anticipate clash potential.

Chairman of Jakmania Central Board, Richard Achmad Supriyanto stated that his rank has appealed its members not to attend the match. The entire regional coordina tor was also asked not to hold a communal screening (nobar) that could potentially cause a riot.

In addition, Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, Yadi Rusmayadi acknowledged that his side has deployed 600 personnel in provincial level and 100 personnel of city level to safeguard the area.

"They will coordinate with the police/military to support the event continuity. We hope everything will run smoothly and there is no any vandalism," he finished
