Street Vendors in Senen Terminal Rejected to Be Controlled

Lots of vehicle lanes were used as a business place by street vendor. We’ll soon inventory it, where do socialization and then demolishment,” he said, when he led raid against public transport in Senen Terminal, Thursday (10/15).

According to him, there are 100 stalls standing along north and south sides. The condition is also worsened with a police post near the lanes.

“I’ve reported it to the Department head, in which we plan to relocate the post to south side. The terminal function must be restored,” he stressed.

Hendrawan furthered that there is a street vendor trading site constructed by a company through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Unluckily, the site does not used by vendor.

“The trading site can accommodate 50 vendors,” he finished.
