Illegal, 1,300 Banners in West Jakarta Removed

There have been 1,300 banners and billboards removed throughout January-September 2015. Besides having no license, they were also installed on public facilities.

There are residence ads from developers and food place ads. But most of them are from political parties

Head of West Jakarta Satpol PP, Kadiman Sitinjak stated, among those thousands banners, most of them were containing of campaign messages from political parties.

"There are residence ads from developers and food place ads. But most of them are from political parties," he stated, Thursday (10/16).

According to him, the controlling is conducted based on Bylaw No.8/2007 on Public Order. Particularly, such banners and billboards on public facilities like on sidewalk.

"We won’t hesitate to remove it. So I hope citizens keep obeying the rule," he asserted.
