Water Channels in Sunter Agung Cleaned

A number of water channels in RW 10, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, cleaned by Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers on Friday (10/16). Besides channels, officers also cleaned the environment.

All this time, those channels always got complaint due to full of trash and mud. They are at Jalan Agung Barat 30, Agung Barat 23 and Jalan Agung Barat 5.

Sunter Agung Urban Village, Andi Dirham stated, there are 70 PPSU officers in his area. As for cleaning the channels, 30 officers deployed.
"We're focusing on cleaning the channels as they often overflow during rainy season," he stated.
Besides that, he told, Agung Barat connecting channel as an estuary of channel in residence also needs to be handled.
"The connecting channel needs dredging. But it's the authority of Water Management Sub-Department," he closed.
