Purchasing Persija Plan Remains Hampered

“We’re going to purchase it but a
fact revealed that Persija has Rp 20 billion debt, so that is impossible to pay
double,” he said at City Hall, Monday (10/19).
Hence, Ahok is currently seeking
for private party to invest in Persija for the sake of better achievement. “This
is unbeneficial project where we have to fund them Rp 30 billion per year. That’s
why we’re seeking for at least 30 private sector to deposit Rp 1 billion,” he
expressed.
Nevertheless, he demanded the club
official not merely asking for benefit from Persija. “If so, you have no any
willing to develop Persija well, you merely asking for some benefit,” he uttered.
Ahok admitted Persija has lost their proud in 2015 President Cup. “Bali FC has defeated them 3-0, thanks God I didn’t see the match at that time,” he told.
However, he have to wait for PSSI approval for purchase footbal
club. “I thought I wanna purchase them and changed its name into Jakmania FC
but with PSSI’s approval first,” he closed.
