Normalization Project in Tegal Amba Connecting Channel Accelerated

East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department continues to accelerately normalizing connecting channels in Tegal Amba, Duren Sawit. That is by deploying two heavy equipements type long arm and amphibian.

Head of East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Yazied Bustomi targets the normalization work to be complete by end of November.

“We send 30 officers and have been divided into two shifts,” he told, Wednesday (10/21).

Bustomi acknowledged the work has been running over 5 days. "To smoothen it, officers had to demolish a small bridge and a house," he expressed.

Bustomi added the dredge soil is put on two vacant lands belongs to Az-Ziyadah Pesantren.

“Another location is right behind Tegal Amba channel, we’ve coordinated with Duren Sawit Sub-District Head,” he disclosed.
