Public Transports Feasibility Test Held in Blok M Terminal

Jakarta Transportation Department held public transportation feasibility test in Blok M Terminal, South Jakarta.

Those vehicles which have beyond the limit number will be given warning letter to be tuned up immediately. If it is still not, it will be ticketed

Management Unit Coordinator of Motor Vehicles Test (PKB) for Jakarta Transportation Department, Adjmain stated that the operation included emission test, vehicles documents, physical, turn signal, tires, etc.

"It's conducted randomly, like in Lebak Bulus Terminal a while ago," he stated, Thursday (10/22).

According to him, the thickness limit of flue gas for diesel fueled bus is 50 percent. And it can only contain of 4.5 percent of carbon monoxide.

"Those vehicles which have beyond the limit number will be given warning letter to be tuned up immediately. If it is still not, it will be ticketed," he asserted.

Meanwhile, the drivers who cannot show their vehicles documents such as KIR, Business License (KIU), and Supervision Card (KP) or trajectory license will be ticketed by the local transportation department.

"As many as 20 personnel are deployed, consisting of 16 South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department personnel and 4 PKB personnel," he disclosed.
