Flood Anticipation, Jalan Ampera VII Concreted

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department has completed concrete project on Jalan Ampera VII, Pademangan Barat Urban Village, Pademangan. As the road had always been flooded during rainy season for years.

The concrete is more stronger and lasting longer

The road concrete with length about 830 m and width 8 m done by PT Ambalat Jaya Abadi has been completed in a week of the target 45 days. Now the road height increased up to 25 cm.

Head of North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department, Warsito stated that this year there are 58 packets of road elevation with concrete ongoing in his area. Predictably, the project will be done by the end of this year

"The concrete is more stronger and lasting longer," he stated, Sunday (10/25).

Pademangan Barat Urban Village Forum Institute (LMK) appreciates positively upon the completed concrete project on the road. Considering, the road elevation makes residents not worried about doing activity when rainy season.

"In rainy season the road was always flooded as the road position is paralell with water channel," said Head of Pademangan Barat LMK, Andi Noviriandi.

The member of Pademangan Barat LMK, Edison S Sinambela added that in future water channels in the area proposed to be normalized so that it would not be flooded anymore.
