Seribu Islands Environment Management Office (KLH) halted the reclamation at Kali Age Island that managed by private sector. This is because it can damage the surrounding environment.

We’ve instructed them to stop the reclamation project, because we want to process the permit to the one-stop integrated service (PTSP)

Head of Seribu Islands Environment Management Office (KLH), Tiur Maeda Hutapea said that monitoring and upholding against bylaw was done and been coordinated with developer.

“ We’ve instructed them to stop the reclamation project, because we want to process the permit to the one-stop integrated service (PTSP) ,” she stated.

Hutapea acknowledged such policy cannot be violated. “What we should know about reversal flow back to the island is due to reclamation project against resort island,” she uttered.

Seribu Islands Regency is currently active in conducting monitoring related to reclamation on resort islands that allegedly have no any permit and violating the rules.

"We’ll continue to monitor all activities," she disclosed.
