Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama intends to build 150 Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) in 2016.

He acknowledged that its construction is no longer use corporate social responsibility (CSR) anymore, but City Budget (APBD).

We know its price unit through CSR program, it can be more expensive if we allocate it

Ahok stated the price unit of RPTRA construction can be detected through CSR program. The value will be used as standard for proposing budget to Jakarta City Legislative (DPRD).

“We know its price unit through CSR program, it can be more expensive if we allocate it,” he said, at City Hall, Tuesday (10/27).

According to him, the amount of budget allocation for public space construction must be expensive if it is done by Regional Working Unit (SKPD). Averagely, private sector cost a budget by Rp 500-700 million for public space

“We’ll use that standard,” he expressed.

Separately, Head of Jakarta Family Planning and Women and Community Empowerment Body, Dien Emmawati conveyed about 63 public spaces built this year by private parties through CSR program.

“There are already 63 public spaces built. While the remaining of 57 locations will be handled by 19 companies,” she explained.

Meanwhile, others 150 locations of public spaces would use APBD. To build a public space a budget amounted Rp 750 million is needed for 3,000 square meters land. “All public space construction this year managed by private sectors, we just prepare its land,” she expressed.
