Basuki to Provide Restaurant Taxpayer Application

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok T Purnama is going to apply an application that can monitor the restaurant's value-added tax (PPN) in the capital city. The tax itself will touch 10 percent. By so, tax cheating can be minimized in future.

You know anyone who eats in restauran will pay tax by 10 percent. But we do not know, whether the tax is paid to the goverment or not

Such plan is because some restaurants allegedly not depositing the PPN completely to the city administration. Thus the local revenue (PAD) from such sector cannot reach target. Whereas, resident has been taxed while buying food at the restaurant.
