Street Vendor Stalls in Asemka Market Controlled

In West Jakarta, we get two programs, namely street vendor and traffic flow

Hundreds of joint personnel of Satpol PP, Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU), army and police attended a ceremony under Pagi Market Flyover, Thursday (10/29) morning. 

14 Stalls in Bintaro Controlled

The ceremony was led by Assistant of West Jakarta Administration, Deny Ramdani and Head of Jakarta Cooperative Department, small and medium scale enterprises (UMKM) and Trade Department, Irwandi. 

In that occasion, Ramdani said that street vendor raid in Pagi and Asemka Markets is an orderly framework of program 5 launched by Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama and Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security.

"In West Jakarta, we get two programs, namely street vendor and traffic flow. Today, we're holding street vendor raid," he told.

He furthered that West Jakarta Administration along with Jakarta Cooperative Department, UMKM and Trade are conducting stages in implementation of street vendor raid.

"Such stages are relocation and socialization toward street vendors have been done, thus we hold raid today around Asemka and Pagi Markets areas," he expressed.
