I've instructed sub-dept to dredge the channel

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana acknowledged that the Kali Induk connecting channel must be dredged because the sediment has reached one meter.

"I've instructed sub-dept to dredge the channel," he said, Sunday (11/1).

Head of East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Ahmad Yazied Bustomi conveyed that his sub-dept is about to run mayor's instruction.

"We're going to re-observe to know which points to be dredged and which tools will be used. The point is we will dredge the channel as soon as possible," he stressed.
