Uangan Connecting Channel Cleaned

After rain poured down on last night Monday (11/2), Uangan connecting channel (PHB) at Jalan Bintaro Permai RT 10/08, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta cleaned. There are many trash carried by water flow last night clogged on the edge of the channel.

Head of Cleanliness Section for Pesanggrahan Sub-District, Zubir Maulana stated that his side does cleaning the channel routinely. But when rainy season comes, many trashes from the headwater then carried.

"There are still many residents littering the river so the trash carried from the headwater to here," he expressed, Tuesday (11/3).

Channel Along Jalan TB Simatupang Cleaned

As many as 12 cleanliness freelancers were deployed to clean the channel. The trash collected then transported using truck of South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department.

"Most of the trash are plastics, grasses, branches, and bamboo. There are about 6 meter cubics of trash dredged," he explained.
