Welcoming Heroes Day, Jakarta Civil Servants Cleaning Monas

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat appreciates the hundreds of civil servants who conduct communal work in the National Monument (Monas) in Gambir, Central Jakarta.

This communal work can be making happy as refreshing.

Djarot disclosed the communal work aims to welcome Heroes Day, which falls on November 10. He hopes, this can provide refreshment to hundreds of city government civil servants involved.

"This communal work can be making happy as refreshing. Because before they wrestle with the routine in the office, and now jointly clean up the fence in Monas," he stated, while visiting hundreds of civil servants who are cleaning at Monas, Tuesday (11/3).

Its cleaning includes sanding and painting the fence. It will take place starting Monday (11/2) until Tuesday (11/10), at 9-11 AM. It has involved 1,050 people from five cities and one regency.

He added, it can encourage cohesiveness among civil servants. "This way will be able to increase the return of their motivation in serving the community," Djarot expressed.
