Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) recruited 40 Pari Island residents, South Seribu Islands, Seribu Islands, to be disaster handling cadres.

"40 cadres are recruited from Each urban village," said Head of Jakarta  Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Denny Wahyu Hariyanto, Denny Wahyu Hariyanto, Wednesday (11/4).

According to him, as the program of BPBD DKI, Seribu Islands Disaster Handling Agency, recruited 18-35-year-old youth who have desire, willpower, sincerity in managing disaster handling.

"Seribu Islands consists of islands and sea water. Therefore it needs cadres or volunteers of disaster handling that understand about the characteristic of the area," he disclosed.
