Rp 90 B Allocated for Damaged Road Repair

Jakarta Dept. of Bina Marga allocated Rp 90 billion this year for road maintenance or road recycling system.

We can not add the elevation of the road surface. That's why we applied the recycling method

The maintenance was started since August and targeted to be done on December 10. Each project uses recycling method.

"We can not add the elevation of the road surface. That's why we applied the recycling method," said Suko Wibowo, Head of Maintenance for Dept. of Bina Marga, Wednesday (11/4).

Rp 500 Billion Allocated for River Normalization

The recycling method is dig the old material up to 11 cm to be replaced with new one. The working hours is 11 PM to 5 AM.

Several roads maintained are Jalan Kramat Raya, Jalan Senen, Jalan Salemba, Jalan and Kwitang in Central Jakarta. Next are Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Jalan Bekasi Timur, Jalan Raya Bogor, Jalan Jatinegara Barat, Jalan Pramuka and Jalan Matraman Dalam in East Jakarta.

"In North Jakarta are Jalan Kamal Benda, Jalan Sunter Selatan, Jalan Gedong Panjang, Jalan RE Martadinata and Jalan Boulevard Barat," he added.

Meanwhile, in West Jakarta are Jalan Puri Indah, Jalan Panjang, and Jalan Joglo Raya. In South Jakarta are Jalan Rasuna Said, Jalan Supomo, and Jalan Mampang Prapatan.
