Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asked the a pattern of relationships between Jakarta with buffer area to be set clearer. Because, as the state capital, its existence cannot stand alone.

Jakarta is categorized as a national strategic area, which cannot stand alone without support of buffer areas

Such statement was conveyed by him regarding detention case over dump trucks in Bekasi and Bogor, West Jakarta.

"Relationships between Jakarta and buffer area must be set clearer," he expressed, Thursday (11/5).

To solve that matter, he explained, in future, there must be more assertive and clear rules how the pattern of relationships between Jakarta with buffer area.

"Later on, we will convey, Jakarta is categorized as a national strategic area, which cannot stand alone without support of buffer areas," he asserted.

Djarot added that supporting concept of the rule in question is how to build regional policy integration. Supposedly, Jakarta regional policy is integrated through the concept of Jakarta Greater.
