Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management keeps intensifying the channel improvement to face rainy season. One of the projects is on Jalan Agus Salim or Jalan Sabang, Menteng. It is predicted that the project to be finished this month.

Based on Beritajakarta.com's observation, the workers demolished the channel which was full of soil and trash. Box culvert was installed to ease the channel cleaning.
Herning Wahyuningsih, Central Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Water Management, admitted that the schedule forces the workers to finish the project in the end of November.
