Saimin, Chairman of RT 01/01 acknowledged that routinely hold a communal work to clean the channel but the result is not maximal as the channel's surface is covered by many buildings.

Johar Baru Sub-District Head, Hedi Suryaman stated that the draining plan has been proposed in the 2016 development planning forum (Musrenbang). "This year has also been proposed," he told.

Head of Central Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Herning Wahyuningsih said, will observe the location first before cleaning the channel. "We need to observe it first," she uttered.
