A number of portable pumps are sent to
flood-prone points such as Grogol Kyai Tapa, Taman Ratu, Season City, Kampung
Apung and Jalan Daan Mogot.
“We put 4 portable pumps in Grogol, 2 pumps in
Taman Ratu, 1 pump respectively sent to Kampung Apung and Daan Mogot and Season
City,” said Pahala Tua, Head of West Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department,
Tuesday (11/17).
Tua conveyed that his side alerted 32 gensets (diesel-fuel machine) with 250 kilo volt spread at the entire pump houses.
“Genset machine will anticipate power blackout from
PLN,” he uttered.
He is optimistic that several preparations
conducted for flood handling in West Jakarta could be done rapidly.
“By maximum preparation, I’m pretty sure flood can recede rapidly,”
he disclosed.
