Channel on Jl Lorong 101 Cleaned from Trash and Mud

Water channel located on Jalan Lorong 101 cleaned by tens personnel of Koja Urban Village Infrastructure and Public Facility Handling.

The condition of channel that has 80 centimeters width is quite dirty. Trash and sediment looked piled up causing the channel narrowing.

“We deploy 30 PPSU personnel to clean the 300 meters long channel,” said Depika Romadi, Koja Urban Village, Wednesday (11/18).

Romadi uttered that cleaning will take a long time due to mud that accumulated along the channel. “This is second day cleaning and we’re still working on it,” he stated.

Until now, there are currently 150 sacks of mud carried and will keep growing 2-fold.

“We expect residents could maintain the cleanliness well as concerning this is our responsible to maintain our environment,” he disclosed.
