98,000 Residents in N. Jakarta Have No E-ID Card

From the total number of 1,168,194 residents in North Jakarta who obligated
to have ID Card, around 98,000 of them are not yet having E-ID Card.whole citizen must already have E-ID Card in 2016
Erik Polim Sinurat, Head of North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department assumed 98,000 people have not ID Card due to change of domicile, working/school abroad or multiple ID-Card.
“Those factors are one cause where many North Jakarta residents who have not processed E-ID card. Whereas, in accordance with government policy, whole citizen must already have E-ID Card in 2016,” he said, Wednesday (11/18).
Dukcapil Dept Hopes E-ID Card Form AddedSinurat continued to simplify them, the working hour in each urban village office will be extended starting at 8 AM-6 PM every Monday-Saturday at 8 AM-12 PM.
“We also distribute E-ID Card to the resident. Hence, those who haven’t processed E-ID Card must process it in the nearest urban village office,” he expressed.
