Residents Appealed to Be Aware of Broken and Collapsed Trees

Entering the rainy season with strong wind, residents are appealed to be aware of broken and collapsed trees in 8 sub-districts in Central Jakarta.

Those trees are mango tree on Jalan Kesehatan 4, Angsana tree on Jalan Suryopranoto and glodokan tree on Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya

Head of Green Lanes Section for Central Jakarta Parks and Cemteries Sub-Department, Bambang Muhirdan stated that yesterday at least there were 3 trees broken due to strong wind.

"Those trees are mango tree on Jalan Kesehatan 4, Angsana tree on Jalan Suryopranoto and glodokan tree on Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya. Residents have to be aware when passing those roads," he asserted, Thurday (11/18).

30 Trees Planted in Pademangan Timur

He also appealed residents not to take shelter under lush tree when raining with strong wind. If they find lush and prone-collapsed trees, hoped to report it to the local urban village.

"Then our officers will rush to the locate for pruning the trees," he appealed.
