Encountering rainy season, monitoring against mosquito larvae (jumantik) keeps being intensified by anti-mosquitoes campaign (PSN) team monitoring in North Jakarta Administration.

East Jakarta Mayor Leads PSN in Cipayung

Evidently, the team found mosquito larvae inside three residents’ homes at RW 14, Tugu Utara Urban Village, Koja Sub-District.

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Wahyu Haryadi stated anti-mosquitoes campaign must be routine conducted every weeks. The effort as an anticipatory way from dengue fever (DBD) threat.

“Clean environment leads healthy environment. Thus, the campaign must be carried out intensively,” he said after led PSN monitoring at RW 14, Tugu Utara Urban Village, Friday (11/20).

The monitoring carried out to all homes. “The monitoring result revealed three houses with mosquito larvae and I instruct them to tackle it down immediately,” he expressed.

Koja Vice Sub-District Head, Budi Santoso expressed residents’ active role who are conducting routine maintenance and cleaning the environment is very essential. “This is for the sake of residents interest,” he stated.
