Cleanliness Personnel of Jatinegara Standby on CIliwung RIver

Anticipating the increase of trash volume from headwater area during high rain intensity, Jatinegara Sub-District's side will be concentrating the cleanliness personnel, armadas and heavy equipment around Ciliwung River.

"The Cleanliness Department Head has intructed to anticipate the trash, we're preparing personnel and backhoe to transport the trash to land. We multiply the personnel number around Ciliwung," said Head of Cleanliness Section for Jatinegara Sub-District, Esron Tarihoran, Sunday (11/22).

According to him, normally the total of trash volume in his area is 212 tons per day. If the rain intensity is high, practically the volume increased especially in Kampung Pulo and Bidara Cina.

"We have predicted and there is anticipation from the department, sub-department, headmen, before the trash comes, we should already handle it," he explained.
