Malaka Sari Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta distributed 40 trash carts and other cleaning tools such as cangkrang, hoe, shovel, and cleaver to 10 local RWs.

As for the severely broken ones will be used as trash temporary place, so that the trash would not be scattered

Rima Dahlia, the Urban Village Head stated that those trash carts were  devoted to RW, but if sometimes Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers need them it can be coordinated well.

"The trash cart which is lightly broken or still can be used, will be repaired in self-help (swadaya). As for the severely broken ones will be used as trash temporary place, so that the trash would not be scattered," she explained, Monday (11/23).

She added, the trash cart procurement is purposed to ease trash reaching in RT and RW level. Therefore, residents can unite with PPSU officers anticipating trash in their area.

"Residents and PPSU should help each other anticipating trash in their neighborhood," she asserted.
