Preventing PKL, 15 Flower Pots Placed on Jalan Nusa Indah

As many as 15 flower pots are placed on street vendors demolishment ex location at Jalan Nusa Indah 6 RW, East Jakarta to prevent the street vendors back to occupy the location.

Previously, as many as 6 semi-permanent kiosks were demolished due to standing on water channel

According to Malaka Jaya Urban Village Head, Lidiana Endah, the location is located near SMAN 103 Jakarta. Those pots are planted with red bud (pucuk merah) placed in a row.

"It's along 50 meters. Previously, as many as 6 semi-permanent kiosks were demolished due to standing on water channel. Now we're putting flower pots so that they will not get back here," she explained, Tuesday (11/24).

She told that the land is managed by East Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department. However, she asks Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) including residents to jointly maintain the plants.

"It's as well as greening. We cooperate with the local RT/RW to help maintaining it. And PPSU to do the watering routinely," she disclosed.
