Jakarta Marine, Agriculture and Food Security Dept, supervising consumable meat to catering entrepreneurs in Tidung Island, South Seribu Islands Sub-District. It purposes to protect the consumers' health.

According to Erwin Fahri, Head of Animal Product Supervision Section, the supervision related to the rampant distribution of meat containing formalin. 

Moreover, many catering services serve guests or tourists every weekend.

"We do supervision in every catering entrepreneur’s houses, whether the meat contains formalin or not," he expressed, Monday (11/23).

He added, his department has not found formalined meats. "We sent five teams to Tidung Island yesterday. As planned, the same thing would be done in resort and tour islands," he finished.
