Rano Instructs Gulkarmat to Prepare an SOP for Handling Electric Vehicle Battery Fires

Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Rano Karno, instructed the Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat) to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for handling electric vehicle battery fires. He delivered the statement at the Stakeholder Exhibition and Seminar on Fire Battery Safety at the Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency Office.He explained that the increasing use of electric vehicles and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) brings new challenges in safety aspects.
