City Keeps Improving Health and Education Service

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat expressed the city administration keeps improving better education and health sector, for the fulfillment of the right of every citizen. 

At this time, sub-district puskesmas is being prepared to become type-D hospital,

"Jakarta Smart (KJS) and Education Cards (KJP) are drawn into the central government's program. So our challenge ahead is to improve health and education," said Djarot, when he became a guest speaker at Conference of National City/Regency for Human Rights (HAM) on the theme Promoting the Implementation of Human Rights by Local Government held by Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, at Aryaduta Hotel, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (11/25).

He acknowledged, there are possibilities for Jakartans who uncovered through KJP. Those who have not been recorded are citizens not having Jakarta ID card and could be covered by Indonesia Smart Card.

Education Service Complaint As Employee Reflection

As for the health, KJS is already integrated with Indonesia Health Card (KIS), which is covered by Social Security Management Agency (BPJS). Practically in health sector, he explains, the city administration's task is merely preparing the infrastructure to draw closer the service.

To draw closer health service to the public, he furthered, the ketuk pintu dengan hati program is being developed, that is by holding health service from door to door with early detection of health. For every 1,250 residents, are prepared the nurses, doctors and midwives.

"We continue health service in community health centers (puskesmas). At this time, sub-district puskesmas is being prepared to become type-D hospital," he uttered.
